Snow Leopard, large long-haired Asian cat, classified as either Panthera uncia or uncia uncia in the family Felide. The species is native to the mountain ranges of central and south Asia. Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.
Snow Leopards have spotted white-greyish fur that keeps then well insulted in cold weather. It can be 5cm long on their back and sides and almost 12cm long on their belly. The snow leopard is a secretive cat, and a solitary hunter except when the female has young with her. Snow leopard are shy, elusive cats known for their solitary nature.
